I’ve had this reaction once (not bc of the vaccine) and let me tell you, it was terrifying.

Same. I ended up on the ground with a trip to the ER, a concussion, and months of headaches. I was just getting my blood drawn, too.

I have seen literally thousands of military persons in lines to get shots of all kinds, and it is not at all uncommon to have at least one of them...big strong, healthy adult males to hit the floor during or after a shot...

I don’t mind shots at all....but is the vasovagal what causes me to faint when my blood is drawn?
-
Yes. Some people are prone to it. (I wonder if there is a hereditary predisposition... I guess I could look it up.)

Some people are more prone to it than others. (I wonder if that is a genetic predisposition?). And it can be delayed on rare occasions. Not a terrible problem, but you would hate to be driving when it happens.

Yes. There is genetics to it:https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2019/05/190516103713.htm …
