Ok, but if I go mask less because I’m fully vaxxed, will people think I’m an anti masker/COVID denier?

I just plan on wearing one in most public situations for the next year or so. Not because people might think I'm anti-mask or anything, but to contribute to normalizing mask wearing.

I've been vaccinated but I, for one, intend to continue wearing a mask. It makes me harder to identify when I knock over the cash register.

I just went outside with my fellow fully vaccinated tax accountants and took off our masks on way to Starbucks. Everybody stared at us, we became self-conscious, and we put them back on.

I am vaccinated. I still wear my mask & take precautions. The one variant I thought was ‘immune’ to the vaccines. I am in a state of anti maskers. I get looks bc my kids and I still wear mask but oh well going keep on keeping on.pic.twitter.com/03E972kQdQ

That is the problem: we’ve turned mask wearing (or mask non-wearing) into a social and political statement rather than a temporary measure to stop the spread of a viral disease during a pandemic.

I think best practice would be to continue masking when in public indoor spaces but if meeting with friends privately you would be safe. Just my opinion

And if I continue to mask up are people going to think I'm antivax? Wearing a mask out and about was the mildest inconvenience but it let us see who the asshole who doesn't return the grocery cart was at a glance (and you know, stopped us from spreading a deadly infection).

Free marketing idea: a headband that says "I wore a mask for over a year, but now I'm vaccinated". Or at least a T-shirt.
