Looks like physicians are also "amplifying antivaccine messaging" by tweeting AZ adverse events. Stay you guys!https://twitter.com/walidgellad/status/1390256492738224132 …

Walid Gellad, MD MPHVerified account @walidgelladThere should be no doubt now that the thrombotic events with AZ vaccine are a true risk. This study uses national healthcare data from Denmark and Norway. Searching hospital records, they find cerebral venous thrombosis of 1 in 40,000 https://www.bmj.com/content/373/bmj.n1114?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_term=hootsuite&utm_content=sme&utm_campaign=usage …Show this thread1 reply 2 retweets 2 likes -
This is a challenging time to discuss vaccine adverse events, but the wrong thing to do is ignore the data. One can still push for vaccines after acknowledging that risks exist.

We certainly shouldn’t. We need to know risks and issues. The person who is quoting your tweet isn’t bringing you into this thread in good faith, in fact, is taking it out of context, and that may color people’s reactions to your tweet.
