Airlines are battling a scourge of passengers traveling with falsified Covid-19 health certificates, with test results easy to manipulate. Because of that, vaccine cards may be coming. https://on.wsj.com/3aeuSYs

Don't WHO yellow cards have better fraud prevention? Some sort of doctor stamp? We need to just copy that model. My state provides a PDF verification online but it'd be super easy to photoshop someone else's name in.

In Michigan, we've long had a database, MICR. Healthcare providers and pharmacies are required to enter every dose of every vaccine administered. That's the verifiable source, at least in this state. Other, but by no means anywhere near all, states have similar databases.

One of the most important things to learn in grade school is that if someone abuses the rules, they ruin it for everyone.

What about people (young people) who are deliberately trying to catch #COVID19 in those countries where a recent infection with #SARSCoV2 can serve as a positive ‘#CoronaPassport’? Heard this in The Netherlands.

I came out of my vaccine appointment and commented to my husband, "I could fake this card with a photocopier. I wouldn't even need Photoshop."
