In terms of antivaccine misinformation, there is a direct line from this to the “#CovidVaccine permanently alters your DNA” trope common among antivaxxers today. Antivax misinformation, at its core, never changes. It evolves, but the core messages remain very consistent.https://twitter.com/jonathanstea/status/1388879722717667339 …

Anti-vaccine misinformation in 1802. Satirist James Gillray caricatured a scene showing the cowpox vaccine being administered and cows emerging from different parts of people's bodies. The cartoon was inspired by the controversy over inoculating against smallpox. pic.twitter.com/b1clTVRIUC

https://youtu.be/pyPjAfNNA-U  Do you consider this scientist an antivaxxer or just a goof ball who’s no where near as smart as you? What about the other 11 scientists who co-authored the letter to to EMA. Do you know if the patents on the #CovidVaccine s actually say “gene therapy”?

I can see people panicking to take an untested, unapproved “vaccine” (gene therapy) which may have rare but dire effects if the disease had 100% death rate! But why would a healthy, young person take a potentially lethal vax for a disease with 98% survival rate? 🤷‍♀️
