Agree except the journal in question is in no way “fringe.” It is peer reviewed and presents medical hypotheses, as its title indicates, rather than the results of studies.

Read my post for a brief history of Medical Hypotheses and the downright wacky hypotheses it's published. It still publishes dangerously daft hypotheses. Someone pointed out to me that the claim that
#hydroxychloroquine and#zinc treat#COVID19 might have originated there.
