The disgrace of Andrew Sullivan is not that he’s an openly racist eugenicist, but that he never hid what he was and yet still had a vibrant career in paid formal media.

FWIW what I thought I was seeing was someone who’d had bad ideas in the past but then *realized* they were bad. I thought Dish-era Sullivan was thoughtful and willing to say when he was wrong. It seems that much of what was best about the Dish turned out to be the interns.
