I love it when @stevennovella slaps down a crank who doesn't understand vaccines, particularly #COVID19 vaccines. I was wondering today if a more—shall we say?—*insolent* response to @thackerpd's nonsense on @DisInfoChron is in order?

Thacker is a sadistic troll that incessantly harassed anyone he disagree with on any topic, to the point of contacting their employer. Sad that respected academics like Dr. Naomi Oreskes work with him.

Yeah. He can't figure out how to contact my employer (b/c it's me), so he randomly looks for people in the Boston area to spread his conspiracy theories about me. Kinda pathetic, really.

Many quacks, antivaxxers, and cranks have contacted my department chair, cancer center director, etc. in the past dating back to 2005. All it does is annoy them. Briefly. Often, it puzzles them. Sometimes it amuses them.

You forgot "conspiracy theorists" Remember to hit all the high notes in your homily. Better: "Many quacks, antivaxxers, conspiracy theorists, and cranks have contacted my . . . . "

Silly man. ALL quacks and antivaxxers are conspiracy theorists. It would have been redundant to include the term.

Sad really. He went from decent journalist to my amateur level of blogging.
