        When an individual is vaccinated, usually his body also creates an immune response. Without the risks of the disease. Which provides longer immunity varies by disease and vaccine.

        Probably the most malignant and wrong idea in health is the “if it doesn’t kill you it makes you stronger.” No. Trust me, as trauma/intensivist let me assure you, many if not most serious illness that don’t manage to kill you still cause permanent harm and disability.

        Scar is not as strong as native skin, bones heal back, but often with pain and muscle weakness, joint and tendon injuries cause months if not permanent disability without surgery. Major illnesses and ICU admissions often forbode a significantly shorter lifespan. Stay healthy.
