I first saw it from claims suggesting cross-reactivity between the spike protein and placental proteins.

I’d genuinely be surprised if there was a single first starting source. Worries about vaccines affecting fertility are one of the earliest vaccine misinfo tropes, and it often spontaneously erupts in many places at once for different vaccines. My impression is it’s the same here.

Probably. I’ve been writing about this particular antivax trope for years, dating back to long before #COVID19.
