I thought they were a means to identify those who refused to comply with government mandates so they could be put on trains and sent to death camps. That is the comparison they make, right? If you're correct, I was way off.

But it sounds so absurd when you type it out like that... :)

First vaccine passports and what's next, driving passports and international travel passports?! The government wants to create a system to track us everywhere! Next we'll all get individual ID numbers!
-
Then we'll be tricked into actually PAYING private companies for devices that we will carry with us everywhere we go. And those devices will constantly be listening in on us!! Could you imagine?!?!! The outrage!!!

Hmmm I wonder what other career this social media doctor is seeking? Why else do doctors take to social media like this? I would check out the profile but meh it would be too depressing or further reinforce how social media and doctors don’t mix.

It's been three and a half months. Shall we take a look at the role vaccine passports have played in "completely reopening business and society?" In the US it's been superfluous. States that banned these passports are no less open than those that allowed or enforced them.
-
Looking at other countries, some form of vaccine passport is used in the Canary Islands (only for entry to the territory), Portugal, Austria, Cyprus, Ireland, Greece, Denmark, France... I'm not sure how common it's outside Europe/Mediterranean.
