Nixon was actually intelligent and listened to his advisors. And resigned his presidency instead of trying to sta I mean there is no President (as far as I know) that can actually compare to how bad Trump is and how much damage he has done to the politics of the US

I'm not disagreeing about Nixon being intelligent and listening to his advisors or about his having enough honor left to resign before he could be impeached. Rather, I'm merely pointing out that the fact he turned out to be a crook shouldn't have been such a surprise.
