I still bring my iPod on planes. What outdated technology do you still use willingly on a regular basis?

Ditto. I tossed/recycled the plastic cases years ago, but a closet full of 250-disc binders still lives in my home.

1000? Amateur. I think we lost count somewhere around 10k. I should do the math and see how long it would take to rip them down. I don't have (nor have I ever) had an ipod and my phone is stupid. (Full disclosure: Hubby is a DJ at a college radio station)

It took me weeks to rip my 1,000 CDs, doing them in batches several times a week. Basically, it generally averages a few minutes per CD, even with a fast optical drive. Some CDs might take longer because they’re degrading, and error correction slows them down...
