I still bring my iPod on planes. What outdated technology do you still use willingly on a regular basis?

Memories of the family listening to records. Somehow holding onto something, like a book makes it seem real. The imperfections makes it seem warm to me. But I fully expect younger people not to have that type of outlook

Cassettes don’t have that reaction and the sound really is terrible and it wears out pretty fast. It certainly is as more conveniently. You didn’t have to have a record player in the trunk. But if convince is what you want....

I started out with tapes, then vinyl, then cds, (mostly cds) now vinyl again. I miss the cd booklets. Vinyl doesn't have them, I used to spend hours 'studying' lyrics as a teen
good times but I like the record sound.

Oh I am in no way disagreeing with you, on that or trying to call you out on anything. I totally agree about the sound, and bit just from the vinyl too but everything from the stylus up can be customized to make each setup unique, and probably drifts away from perfect/accurate
