A turntable and vinyl records, though I guess that’s new again. My millennial son is a dedicated VHS and cassette tape devotee.

I just can’t understand why anyone would want to resurrect cassettes for music. The sound quality sucked and they frequently jammed. Seriously, I laugh at anyone who turns a nose up at MP3 sound quality but listens to cassettes.

Of course you’re entitled to your opinion. But let me say that my son listens to his music in all formats from vinyl to digital. He also listens to actual radio programs.

And I listened to vinyl and cassette for the first half of my life until around 1990. Even after I got my first CD player then, I kept listening to vinyl for a long time because I had so many records.
