Well, if I were running Hoover & had power to do so, I'd get rid of him as embarrassment ... but then I have no idea of the nature of employment contracts for Hoover Fellows & as you know, firing academics or even "academics" is not always easy.

And even look at his output in recent yrs. A few, barely cited items on hc ins. iifrc. Not like he's a real scholar in resid. like a typical think tank fellow. Just a political opportunist who worked his way into access to Trump's ear and undermined govt public health response.
