It’s weird to be accused of tribalism for being critical of prominent covid minimizers who a year ago were very much in my “tribe” and were praised in my book on cognitive errors in medicine.

Why were you surprised? Only a superficial reading of much of the low carb promotion made it obvious to me that most of them were utter cranks.

Some of the MDs and PhDs yes, not so much the others. Even some very sensible ones turned into raging great barrington promoters as people dropped dead of Covid left and right.
