If Stanford doesn't sever ties, it endorses the Hoover Institute and Stanford suffers

I've studied many think tanks, and many have nothing but rightwing hacks (& Hoover certainly has some), but there are some very sensible folks affiliated there as well, like
@McFaul,@KounalakisM, William Perry, Gary Roughead & others I've heard or talked to. One has to check. -
The right wing science denying rot at
@HooverInst crowds out nearly all legitimate scholarship. Science-wise, I see nothing but climate science denial and#COVID19 minimization/denial there, and any legitimate scholar who chooses to remain is complicit in promoting that. - Show replies

Totally right Dr Gorski, I will have more to say about this in a news
@sciam piece scheduled for Monday -

With, at least, the exception of Milton Friedman, may he rest in peace. Friedman was a principal mensch.

@stanford as an institution has not bathed itself in glory during the pandemic. Scott Atlas, John Ioannidis and Jay Bhattacharya all affiliated with Stanford, all MDs, and all seem determined not to understand the science of COVID. -
Yup. The right wing rot at
@Stanford goes far beyond@HooverInst. - Show replies
