Plot twist:
@ZDoggMD and@VPrasadMDMPH's ongoing public predictions of themselves getting cancelled directly mirrors the dynamics they frequently discuss of COVID predictive models in newspapers -- immediate social media benefit, no repercussions for false positive preds, etc.2 replies 0 retweets 16 likes -
Except they’ve made a name for themselves defending those who wildly and consistently underestimated covid and have miscast all criticism as being cancelled. It’s a cute trick.

Come on, silly. It's simple. For those who whine all the time about "cancel culture" and "being canceled," a simple equation is all you need to know: Extensive harsh criticism = "being canceled" See how easy that is? Now we can all complain about "being canceled."

The best thing about this equation is that, for purposes of claiming to have been "canceled," it doesn't matter one whit whether the extensive harsh criticism based on your previous bad takes on something is justified or not. All that matters is that you're being criticized.

I mean, seriously. Don't you know that freedom of speech also equals freedom of consequences for that speech? Look it up, you cancel culture warrior, you!
