Ha! You should’ve seen how snarky I was 15 years ago. You think I’m snarky now? I’ve actually mellowed with age.https://twitter.com/ENirenberg/status/1374128041748803584 …

If you're more bothered by a little bit of snark than the fact that in the face of a pandemic that is killing and disabling millions we have malicious actors actively spreading disinformation, I do not value your opinion on what constitutes good work for my blog.

I actively work to try to make my blog as snark-free as possible despite a lot of material to work with that would enable me to do otherwise. Also apparently it was snarky to explain that COVID-19 is a disease while SARS-CoV-2 is a virus and vaccinologists should know better.

I first got to know you about 15 years ago online, you were very very snarky. Of course, as a snarky old feathered dinosaur, I appreciate good snark. Moreover, we all know snark, sarcasm, and irony require intellect. 🤣

You’ve definitely mellowed - not a bad thing, but I enjoyed your snark as well. I was so happy to find someone a pissed off by quackery as I was. Also: even in your snarky days, you were nice. I once emailed a question about some rubbish I saw and you answered :)
