I know a nurse who won't get the flu shot, so the docs make her wear a mask at work. She pisses and moans about it on Facebook every year. What do you think the docs should do?

Indeed. If people are unwilling to meet a simple and safe requirement to ensure the safety of others who are likely to be vulnerable in a particular job, then they are unsuited to the position.

I was about to say this. This is just Americans talking tough. If most of those were *truly* about to lose their job over a shot, they’d take it. Folks know good and well they don’t have six months of bills in an account somewhere.

A bit off topic, but do you think that the flu might be weaker for a year or two simply because there are so few people infected in the last year to keep it going?
