This is an economist, not a doctor, infectious disease expert, or epidemiologist, and this is NOT an evidence-based recommendation; that is, unless you like your evidence cherry picked. WTF, @TheAtlantic?https://twitter.com/TheAtlantic/status/1372686805498220547 …

The arrogance of the person willing to give advice that is knowingly outside of their expertise is only matched by the stupidity of the source that published it. How does so many awful decisions go into 1 article?

This is the same economist who wrote a pregnancy book where she stated , "there is no good evidence that light drinking during pregnancy negatively impacts your baby...up to one drink a day in the second & third trimesters & one to two drinks a week in the first trimester."

This *is* the same publication that once gave Tom Bethell space for one of his anti-evolution rants years ago, so don't be all that surprised.

I cannot believe @TheAtlantic would publish such trash. Wtf are they thinking? Then actually promoting it via social media with such an harmful quote. We're just going to keep taking 50 steps back on Coronavirus, aren't we?

Toby Rogers is a political science major and always has a lot to say about vaccines. Maybe he can publish an article next?
