No, it's basically no actual instruments (esp. guitar and piano), repetitive computer beats, over production, and no melodies.

Which are almost EXACTLY the same complaints my our parents and grandparents had about their children's music. Parents of the Boomers complained about how electric guitars and synthesizers weren't "real" instruments and about the repetitive lyrics and no melodies.

The only difference is that the computer beats didn't exist back then, but technology marches on and parents often complain about technology used in music today that didn't exist when they were young.
