The only difference is that the computer beats didn't exist back then, but technology marches on and parents often complain about technology used in music today that didn't exist when they were young.

Again, there's a quantitative difference. The 60s and 70s introduced different instruments to pop music, i.e. electric guitar. The problem now is that there are NO instruments.

Who cares? No, seriously, who gives a flying...? If the music is good and enjoyable, who cares if an artist generated it on a computer? Certainly I don't.
