Standardized testing is certainly biased in favor of the wealthy, but likely much less so than school prestige, "leadership," "pay to play" sports, recommendation letters, and volunteering.

The whole SAT discourse is downstream of the school prestige of a handful of colleges. Most university students aren't attending exclusive colleges.

Planet ignorance. Best predictor of performance is high school (or community college for non traditional students) GPA. Not the SAT. It’s not just about race either, it’s also not demonstrative of student ability overall but especially for gifted neuroatypical / 2e students.
