I mean, "lack of vaccination"? There was no proven safe and effective #CovidVaccine until December, after the #COVID19 pandemic had been raging nearly a year.

When he went on Mark Levin’s show, I knew he had sold out science for political ideology.

I was unaware that he had appeared on Mark Levin's show. Let's just put it this way. Even a couple of decades ago, when I was still conservative and listened to Rush Limbaugh on a fairly regular basis, I tried Levin's show and said, "Whoa. He's way too batshit crazy for me!"

Every single one of these things existed in 2019, 2018, 2017, etc, and would have been counted in normal death totals. I don't see how they would have caused 2.6M excess deaths in 2020 all of a sudden.

I can kinda see where he's going, in that many of these things exacerbated the severity of the pandemic. But if I have an asthma attack while being mauled by a hear and I die, the bear still killed me.

I sense many in the statistical community found the PloS claim to be a rhetorical slight of hand, and that the argument required specific parameters for it to be true. But as there were many statistical problems in research, he was pushing needed reform.

I thought you would have quite liked his presentation:pic.twitter.com/3A3Nq5CVJI

It was some of the worst rambling, incoherent nonsense I've witnessed since the start of the pandemic. He even forgot which subject he was supposed to be debating after the first whackjob slide.
