All practising physicians should know about this early treatment website, which I (a medical librarian) have recently reviewed: https://abettervision.medium.com/early-treatment-of-covid-19-review-of-a-tragically-censored-online-physician-resource-91864652f67a …
Lousy studies, every last one of them. Plenty of studies that they don't mention that refute their claims. You too are ignoring the negative studies. HCQ and Ivermectin do not seem to help early on in Covid19. No reason to believe they help. Nothing has been censored.
Agreed. Those studies are terrible. Every. Last. One. Of. Them.
Basically, the websites she cited are astroturf websites run by #COVID19 deniers and right wing grifters.
I was writing this about #HydroxyChloroquine, for example, back in July.https://respectfulinsolence.com/2020/07/29/hydroxychloroquine-the-black-knight-of-treatments-for-covid-19/ …
Unsurprisingly, as the negative studies accumulated for #HydroxyChloroquine, the HCQ grifters pivoted to #ivermectin. Now #ivermectin is the new HCQ.
Sounds cynical to me. None of these top doctors who testified in the Senate have COI (conflict of int. with Big Pharma): https://abettervision.medium.com/early-treatment-of-covid-19-review-of-a-tragically-censored-online-physician-resource-91864652f67a …
For "censored" doctors, they sure do seem to have many platforms to be heard, such as @FoxNews. Certainly, they have a much wider reach than any of their critics.
The 3 doctors' Early Treatment Senate Hearing Nov. 19 was 2.5 hrs. long. Not just HCQ, but IVM and others. Included the wonderful treatment algorithm below. https://www.hsgac.senate.gov/hearings/early-outpatient-treatment-an-essential-part-of-a-covid-19-solution … McCullough is Vice Chair of Med at Baylor. With no good evidence for any of it other than steroids.
