This literally makes no sense. It's what I like to call pseudoprofound BS. If you don't know a lot about the topic and/or don't look too closely, it sounds profound, but falls apart as nonsense under the slightest critical examination.

Some people, when they learn science’s “truths” are just approximations, decide that means science is worthless. In (over)reacting to this position, Dawkins is making the same fundamental error.

Yeah, I think of a great accomplishment like the latest Mars rover, and what an amazingly powerful example of our predictive modeling. However, there was still uncertainty, there were some white knuckles in the command center until it landed. *That’s* respecting the science.
