Chris has made some major differences in public policy around the US. It's not like he is just some popular twitter personality. I think it is worth hashing out these ideas in public, not just behind academic doors.

I think at this point, he and those like Glen Loury, ect are just looking for any big name academic that has shown support for CT/CRT type ideas to engage in one on one dialouge with them, as they believe they can tale apart the ideology.
