@ENirenberg debunked his hypothesis in a very thoughtful and well sourced explanation. Not to mention @gorskon @doritmi and many others (even my lowly self) trying to explain the harms and dangers of his actions spreading fears about the vaccines. He’s since only gotten worse 2/2

Though I’d add that you are still more knowledgeable on this topic than Dr. Noorchashm.

I'm a cellular immunologist - COVID-19 is an inflammatory disease involving dominantly T-cells and Macrophages and triggered by a coronavirus. Fauci is a virologist too, which is why we are lagging in effective therapies.
-
What a weird thing to say - Fauci is not the gatekeeper of what therapies are effective.

As a sidenote, I'll add that Chelsea Clinton, the subject of his attack, knows a few things about public health and dealing with pandemics https://www.publichealth.columbia.edu/people/our-faculty/cc3459 … and https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736(15)00946-0/fulltext?rss%3Dyes=&code=lancet-site … andhttps://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736(16)32402-3/fulltext …

And Fauci is an immunologist. Yes, SARS-CoV2 results in an immune response that is protective, but it also stimulates a nasty inflammatory response that can be long-lasting. The vaccines against Covid are safe and effective.
