No. It's dangerous and unnecessary. Also, Dorit, remember COVID-19 disease is an inflammatory disease. Exacerbating inflammation with a vaccine....Not good. Stay in your own damn lane!

Dr. Paul Offit, an expert on vaccines, one of the authors of the medical textbook, tells you it’s not dangerous. This is his lane. More than yours.

I know Paul Offit. He was a faculty in the graduate group I did my PhD in. I know and respect him. His wife was my kids' pediatrician and vaccinated them. But, I have been very disappointed by his inability to properly address the problem of vaccinating the pandemic infected.

He doesn’t have to accept your belief either. But in this case, he’s not addressing COVID-19 vaccines. He’s telling you that for other routine vaccines, the risk you’re raising isn’t there.

Be real. Why don't you see an increased risk of mortality in the Israeli study comparing mortality and hospitalizations between the vaccinated and unvaccinated groups? The groups include those 85+ and matched on comorbidities.https://www.nejm.org/doi/10.1056/NEJMoa2101765 …

Looks like you are PhD candidate. Look, I know you're learning. Chew on this: There's a difference between efficacy and safety. You can have something be radically effective BUT disastrously unsafe for a minority subset of people. We don't screw minorities - do we?

You're avoiding answering my question. Why do we see an increased risk of mortality and hospitalizations in the unvaccinated? Do you expect to see differential rates of COVID infections between the vaccinated and unvaccinated at the time of vaccination?

He’s VERY good at avoiding uncomfortable questions about his hypothesis.
