Wow, that’s really dumb. You must be desperate, because that doesn’t support your hypothesis at all. It’s about coinfection, not vaccines.

Clearly you are not a cellular immunologist. Stay on your own lane David. Write a blog.

Perhaps not, but I am PhD molecular and cellular biologist in addition to being a cancer surgeon. You should be able to explain to me how a paper about co-infection with two different viruses is relevant to your hypothesis. Try me.

Exactly that you do not see the scientific relevance of this, tells me that you are not a cellular immunologist - and are thus unqualified…. Stick with bloggin’ Dave.

My Rural-Generalist-everything-is-in my-lane-non-PhD brain didn’t get beyond the first sentence.. “People infected with both flu and SARS-CoV-2 are more than twice as likely”

No... “don’t give people influenza in the midst of their COVID19” is what this study says. P.s. We give influenza vaccine in the middle of influenza outbreaks.

20-30% of Americans are infected. What percent are infected with the flu at the peak of flu vaccine season? Get a clue!

5-20% of Americans are infected during a regular flu season. The paper still doesn’t support your claim. Or at least, you haven’t made a case it does, in spite of questions.

Per CDC (and common knowledge among immunologists): "Vaccination should continue to be offered throughout the flu season, even into January or later." Source:https://www.cdc.gov/flu/prevent/vaccinations.htm …
