I do love the fallacy of, “It hasn’t personally affected me or anyone I know, so it must not be a problem.” So much like #COVID19 deniers and minimizers.

My grandmother had it decades ago way before a vaccine. She was living with us at the time and I remember huddling in my room with my sister as we heard her crying and moaning all night. It’s awful.
