Damn you, @Twitter. I was looking for a link to use to reply to a Tweet, and then my timeline suddenly jumped to the latest without my intervention. Now I can't find the original Tweet that I'd wanted to respond to. This happens all the time.

That’s what it’s doing? That’s so annoying. I thought I was accidentally doing that.

Sometimes when that happens to me, I can use the back arrow on my browser and come back to where I was.

I’m frustrated that, on my iPad, the tweets that I am actively trying to read or respond to change on me at the most unfortunate times, yet the trending topics column on the right almost *never* changes, unless I manually refresh it. So, I don’t really know what’s trending.

Why can't you set it to "See Latest Tweets" and it stays there the next time you log on. At least until you change it.

The worst is when it does the “Do you want to read the article” thing before retweeting. I click through to read the article and when I finish reading and go back to Twitter, my feed has jumpscrolled away and I can’t find the original tweet.

Me trying to remember who sent the tweet: “Avatar was... blue?”
