That can be accommodated. There’s almost always food in the surgical lounge. I have more trouble accommodating my urge to snack when I’m seeing patients in clinic than when I’m in the OR, where snacking between cases is easy.

I mostly joke but I've had a couple research jobs where I was in the OR and I was always far more interested in the explant heart or the newborn than the actual surgery. Something for everyone in medicine, though.
