Basically (2) is a straw man of the pro-vaccine position that's very much like the antivaccine mischaracterization of that position as callously being willing to sacrifice people to vaccine adverse reactions, all "for the greater good."

Seriously, doc, can you cut it out with the use of antivaccine tropes to support your idée fixe? It's not a good look for someone who proclaims himself to be so very, very "provaccine." /end
