So he's into chronic Lyme disease quackery now. Why am I not surprised. CLD is a fake diagnosis with no scientific basis used by quacks to "explain" symptoms that medicine has trouble dealing with. It's not a real disease. https://twitter.com/DrEricDing/status/1359449490290339841 …

LymeScience @LymeScienceReplying to @ENirenberg @DrEricDing and 2 othersIt's worse. The book@DrEricDing is promoting attempts to connect Autism, Alzheimer's, ALS, MS, and psychiatric disorders to a bunch of chronic Lyme cult nonsense. The book is naked exploitation of the pandemic and real problems to spread harmful beliefs. https://lymescience.org/lyme-is-not-multiple-sclerosis-als-alzheimers-autism-parkinsons/ …2 replies 3 retweets 32 likesShow this thread -

It's a shame because he's been mostly factual on COVID but this Lyme Disease nonsense is so, so bad.

No. He hasn’t, actually. He’s long been a veritable font of sensationalistic bad takes on #
#COVID19, Tweeting them many dozens of times a day. Real experts roll their eyes at him.2 replies 1 retweet 2 likes
Basically, what he’s good at is rapid sensationalistic takes on every little reported finding, confirmed or not. It’s frustrating as hell that Twitter has deemed him a reliable source and includes him in its “#COVID19 experts” groups, so that he keeps popping up in my feed.
