Nothing I’ve seen to indicate this so far... but it seems like with this high an N he should be looking to the data for evidence consistent w/ the hypoth mechanism, not simply proffering said mechanism

But that work is going on - he can look at the results... ppl are have these reaction or they’re not, and his hypoth makes a specific predictions that this type of reaction should be more prevalent in elderly

Caveat that underscores ur point tho: are older folk less likely to have been unknowingly infected (more careful eg) than younger ppl? Probably. So yeah- it is a complicated Q to answer

Not complicate at all. If elderly frail and with cv disease,
#ScreenB4Vaccine. Because, vaccinating infected people is a breach of standard medical care. PERIOD!4 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

Ok- I’m not a clinician and that’s not what I’m asking . I’m asking if there is any data that you’re tracking that might give some indication about the predictions that your hypothesis implies. I think that’s fair, no?

Very fair. Unfortunately the way fda and cdc are collecting data is confounding. Post vaccine COVID disease/death is not registered as “vaccine related”. Problem is: the vaccine may trigger COVID inflammation in the recently infected. C? We do not c what we do not look 4.

According to this article - which I'm not saying is right, I simply don't know - the VAERS data has serious limitations and the Vaccine Safety Datalink and V-Safe Database data are not being made public. Is that correct?https://childrenshealthdefense.org/defender/did-cdc-mislead-public-allergic-reactions-moderna-vaccine/ …

VSD is available to qualified researchers, after they sign guarantees of privacy (since it includes private data). Vaers has limits. But to remind you, the raw data would mean little to most people, not trained in evaluating it.

I mean, antivaccine activists routinely misuse and misrepresent VAERS raw data. There is no reason to think they would do otherwise with VSD. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vice.com/amp/en/article/qjpmp7/anti-vaxxers-misuse-federal-data-to-falsely-claim-covid-vaccines-are-dangerous … The last pair of antivaccine scientists to use VSD violated privacy rules.

And they’ve been doing it for a very long time, so much so that a term was coined for it: Dumpster diving. Here’s an example from 15 years ago. https://photoninthedarkness.blogspot.com/2005/07/dumpster-diving-republished.html …

And I provided a brief history of how antivaxxers misuse VAERS here.https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/covid-19-vaccines-as-dangerous-continue-apace-vaers-edition/ …
