Exactly. And substantive issues germane to the data & their collection. Twitter often shows the general misunderstanding that exists wrt portability of stat skills across subst. areas--from lab to clinical to public hlth to polling to phys sci to econ, soc, & behav sci topics.

Stats is not that hard. I maintain that basic principles apply across disciplines, just as the scientific method does. If you can understand one, it’s a short walk to understanding others. If you disagree, fine; but it sounds like a “too complicated for commoners” argument.
