I agree with your assessment, but I'm still quite glad that Dr. Hooman took a stand against RFK Jr.'s chronic and expected misrepresentations.

Oh, I'm glad he did, too. Finally. It took a LOT of prodding, though, and not just by me.

I can't judge the science but take Dr. Hooman's side because he is much more respectful than you, Dr. Gorski. Name callers tend to bend facts to prove they are right. Mr. Kennedy is also much more respectful and a true freedom fighter, imo, even if his science is somewhat flawed.

Divided, we fall. Together we may stand a chance..... Safe vaccination of as many Americans as possible, as quickly as possible, is a patriotic duty.

The moment this person sided with antivaccine activist RFK jr., it was clear where he’s coming from. He’s not on your side because he thinks you’re right, he’s on your side because he thinks he can use you to attack vaccines.

Sorry if I was somewhat disrespectful, I just think you're being paranoid, seeing an "antivaxxer" under every rock. Just because I like Mr. Kennedy's politics doesn't mean I accept his science. I'd love to see him in a discussion with
@MTOsterholm, who I also greatly respect.4 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

RFKj is not to be found under a rock. He's out there constantly, blatantly spreading disinformation.

Possibly consider that when various other MDs are treating you with disrespect it is because you are doing something worthy of scorn. Spreading inflated fears over vaccines that have already undergone more scrutiny than any others in history, promoting RFKj both deserve scorn.

I love the tone police coming to the defense of a guy who calls scientists nazis and liars and spreads conspiracies about vaccines. These conspiracy theories are hateful, they demonize physicians and scientists. You deserve our tone of disrespect.

Yup. As I've been documenting for 16 years, RFK Jr. has been caught comparing vaccination to the Holocaust (something he's said when he thought only the antivax faithful would hear him), calling @DrPaulOffit "Dr. Proffit" and provaccine advocates "pharma shills," and more.
