I specifically object to his characterization of skeptics and skepticism, and his increasingly bold unsubstantiated claims on COVID, he has long downplayed the risks of COVID to children and the risks of returning to school causing spread (children don’t live alone)

Most egregiously he has a large platform, where fairly recently, perhaps unintentionally, he voiced the opinion that once you have been vaccinated you don’t need to wear a mask anymore. Which for a several reasons is problematic, one we don’t exactly know how vaccination impacts

Your ability to be infected by SARS-COV-2 and then potentially spread it. Last I checked with people way smarter and more knowledgeable than I, we certainly don’t know that vaccination induces sterilizing immunity, many vaccines don’t. So everyone needs to continue masking

Even after getting vaccinated, bc the masks most ppl use to stop you from getting infected, it’s all about limiting the likelihood that you spread it to others. All that doesn’t even get into the fact that not everyone will have a solid understanding of when immunity kicks in and

How do you know that this person screaming at you in the grocery store has been fully vaccinated and that it worked, they could be a symptomatic anti-masker for all you know. Plus the more people stop wearing masks the more fence sitters will stop too, coercive control weakens

Yup. His arrogance and condescending straw manning off opposing views were what led me to stop taking him seriously.
