At least colchicine is suggested based on a >4k people double-blind RCT. HCQ was based on a 40 people cherry picked open-label trial viral load endpoint. With less political influence, self-cleaning will be done efficiently.

key data still missing: baseline, exclusion, KM curve, steroid use, confidence interval. I don't think it's a neat option for outpatient given the nasty drug-drug interaction & vaccine is becoming available. but it CAN be an option for area with no vaccine access (e.g. Africa)

Heh. I was once misdiagnosed with gout by a resident and prescribed colchine, which cracked rheumatology right the fuck up when I got there. I held on to it for years, because of uncertainty about wanting to live.
