Discussions on @Nextdoor remind me that the average person doesn't think it's up to them to back up their claims. If you ask for a source for a claim, they'll frequently say, "Do your own work" or give you a vague reply (like the @MichiganHHS website) without a specific link.

My Nextdoor feed is mostly complaining about loud children and dogs, except last March when it was about where to find toilet paper. That was when I unsubscribed.

Every so often someone will post a complaint about masks or, in this case, about the city suspending a liquor license of a restaurant that broke COVID-19 restrictions on indoor dining. (From my perspective the restaurant was fortunate that the city didn't totally shut it down.)
