Another dumb #COVID19 denial trick. Use the largest possible denominator you can find in order to make the death toll appear "insignificant," whether it's the appropriate denominator or not and ignoring that the pandemic is nowhere near over yet and deaths are *undercounted*.

Using Stuart's "logic," I suppose we should stop requiring seatbelts and airbags and stop trying to improve road and car design. After all, the death toll from automobile crashes is "only" around 38,000, which is "only" 0.012% of the population per year.
