Charwoman here. You can kill covid without damaging porcelain. Is there something I'm missing? "Get clean, but do no damage" is sort of the cleaners' credo.
-
Yep. Chlorine bleach kills covid very well

I'm not discounting the importance of killing covid, but seems like degrading the physical structure of toilets would also cause massive public health problems. And, ew.
-
This is true. Compromised porcelain can create breeding areas for germs, just like with cups. Nothing about this makes actual sense.

I've also never heard the term "cream cleanser" outside of skin care. The creamier bath cleansers I know of are the least abrasive, and not especially disinfecting. What cleanser do they mean, and how do they know the cleaners are using it? Shenanigans!

Are urinals even a possible transmission pathway for covid? Do people even touch them? What goes on in men’s rooms?
-
Most of them are now flushless and waterless, at least here in CA. They are disgusting. Urine splash back of a urinal that was just peed on by dozens prior to you. I avoid them and use an actual toilet.
