That's the most likely explanation. He's the one who published some hack hoaxes with the intent to demonstrate that the entire field of gender studies is bogus (he didn't). His thing is being "anti-woke" but calling it skepticism

My primary care doc is black, and I love her. I've had my left thigh go completely numb after standing for more than 20 mins for over a decade now, and she was the first to correctly diagnose the issue.

Might I add, my last doc before he retired, white and hoping to be on Trumps team, just threw hydrocodone at me. It had the double effect of a week of withdrawals after he retired, and being treated like crap for smaller issues afterwards.
