There was this one project were we did an adenovirus-vectored delivery system in the 90s (failed, btw) I can't talk about because of NDAs. We've been doing this for a long time. It's not really new tech and folk shouldn't be afraid of it. It will haunt me forever. /very snark

The somewhat dark early days of gene therapy taught up a lot about this vector system and much less about gene therapy. It has always had some useful features as a vaccine.
