In fairness, he did develop welts his thrombocytopenia within a few days after the vaccine, but there was no signal for ITP as a problem in the clinical trials, which suggests that, if this is an adverse event, it's an extremely rare one. More likely, it's a sad coincidence.

Yes, it started with that nurse who fainted after getting the vaccine. There were lots of conspiracy theories about her being dead. What makes this case different is that the doctor actually did die.
