You would hope the process would screen this kind of stuff out, but even a background or interest in the hard sciences can’t insulate everyone. Many go into pharmacy saying they’re interested in pseudoscientific stuff due to working in a “natural”/compounding pharmacy setting.

It would be nice if the organizations responsible for licensing these people start sanctioning them for espousing such bizarre theories. They are responsible for safely and accurately dispensing medications that can cause significant harm after all.
