Notice how quickly #cancer quacks turn on a dime. Before #COVID19, the message was that all conventional cancer treatment is "cut/burn/poison" and does more harm than good. Now they're quoting oncologists warning cancer patients are dying due to delays in care due to #lockdown.pic.twitter.com/RIBZRvfbXI

I mean, seriously, cancer quacks. If, as loved to claim before #COVID19, conventional cancer treatments don't cure cancer and cause more harm than good, then you should be happy that lockdowns are delaying that conventional care 2/

Of course, consistency isn't a thing with quacks, except for one thing: They are very consistent in always attacking conventional medicine in order to sell their quackery. So this particular pivot makes perfect sense. 3/3

There are too many quacks! What is worse, there are more people who believe them.

It’s kinda funny, but NOT funny. It could also be seen as quite consistent, in that the quacks appear to always have an “easy fix” that appeals to what people want to hear rather than what they need to hear. Humans are weird.

Also, I would think oncologists would want everything possible done to eradicate this novel virus b/c some viral infections have been found to lead to certain cancers. But 🤷‍♀️

As if oncologists haven't been begging people to stay the hell home! The only reason "lockdowns" are affecting patient care is because states waited too long to put them back in place, and now there's no beds for cancer patients because they're full of COVID patients.
